Beds and pillows in my standard room were lovely.

The access to the hotel is a true labyrinth between construction sites and pedestrian zones and the hotel itself has no reserved spaces for loading and unloading luggage. Access by car (rental car) is strongly discouraged. The staff is no help either, but rather helpless.

No particular area to mention. Just a routine 3-star kind of a city hotel.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating: making reservations, giving recommendations, early checkin, late checkout . Excellent free wi-fi signal. Hotel is a few steps from Icelandic Excursions office where most day trips depart so very convenient. Also close to many excellent restaurants and the harbor. Right across street from most famous hot dog stand. Rooms and beds are small but clean and sufficient for 2 friends. Quiet during the week but beware any city center hotel on the weekend.

Wonderful visit. Friendly, accommodating, knowledgeable staff THROUGHTOUT. Clean, quiet, hotel in the best location in Reykjavik. Happy hour was welcome after long day sightseeing as was the breakfast buffet on early AM arrival.

Very noisy because of late party people on the streets after the clubs close.

The location was good and fantastic, for example, a Lutheran parish church was just a pleasant stroll away from the hotel. The area was walkable near to many shops, Bus stop 3 and 4 for tours and the harbour for whale spotting trips and transport facilities. Greatly enjoyed the standard room with a big bed as well as an excellent continental breakfast I was given. The breakfast was generous, plenty of excellent food.

The location was terrific. Everything was easily accessible -- tours, shopping, restaurants, etc. Also the staff was super friendly and helpful.
Did not like the twin beds in our Junior Suite. They pushed the beds together to look like a larger bed but they were not attached and kept coming apart in the middle of the night. Not very comfortable and my leg/foot ended up on the floor between the beds more than once. Also, there was a lot of wasted space in our room (303). While it was nice having a large room the bed and chairs were all pushed together on one side of the room leaving a huge amount of empty space. Seemed a bit weird.
